Two-member attendance at family violence incidents
From today, two members must attend every family violence incident, in line with the District Operational Safety and Wellbeing Plan. Single crews must wait for backup unless there is an immediate risk to life. Supervisors will monitor compliance through the Incident Log. Report any barriers to the Operations Inspector.

Exhibit room quarterly audit
The exhibit officer will audit exhibit rooms A and B and both safes from 15 to 17 September. Every member with an outstanding exhibit must ensure the register entry is complete, including storage location and any movements. Discrepancies will be reported to the Detective Senior Sergeant on the day they are found.

Operational safety requalification, October block
The October requalification block runs from 5 to 9 October at district headquarters. Members whose currency expires before December have been rostered. Check the training system and tell your supervisor now if you cannot attend. Members without current qualification will not be rostered to operational duties.

Northgate Spring Fair, 10 October
The council has confirmed the Spring Fair on the Civic Reserve with an expected crowd of eight thousand. An operational order is in preparation. Members interested in the community stall or the deployment are asked to speak with the Senior Sergeant, Community Engagement by 20 September.

New body worn cameras issued at Northgate East
Northgate East station has received replacement body worn cameras. Old units with battery defects have been withdrawn and recorded in the Fleet and Equipment Register. Members must check their camera at the start of every shift and report any fault before going on the road. Activation is required for every interaction involving a power.
